Shortly after unwrapping the Lexus LX 570, parent company Toyota has unveiled its latest iteration of the Land Cruiser. Released in Japan this week, the updates to the Land Cruiser 200 includes a reshaped hood, a new three-bar grille, LED headlights, as well as a restyled tailgate. The interior has also been updated with new switchgear, instruments, and 4.2-inch color TFT LCD screen. Under the hood, the four wheel drive SUV harbors a 4.6-liter V8 engine, with new safety technologies such as pre-collision detection, pedestrian detection, radar-enabled cruise control, lane departure, and automatic high-beam systems. The 2016 Land Cruiser 200 will be available outside Japan in the coming year, and individual equipment levels will vary from one market to another.
