Microsoft Unwraps the Futuristic Surface Hub 2

Microsoft has just taken the wraps off its next-generation interactive whiteboard – the Surface Hub 2 – a major upgrade to the original 2016 Surface Hub.

Built around a massive 50.5-inch multi-touchscreen display with 4K resolution, the giant device is now capable of dynamic rotation, to further add versatility, and allow users to utilize the best orientation for their content that best suits them and the people they are collaborating with. The Surface Hub 2 is powered by Windows 10 and features an array of apps like Office and Skype to create a richer collaboration experience.

The Surface Hub 2 can scale and adapt to your space through tiling, whereby up to four screens can be mounted together in portrait or landscape view. This provides plenty of screen space for the apps and video conferencing needs. A dynamic collaboration feature will allow multiple users to walk up to the Surface Hub 2, and log into the device using the built-in fingerprint reader. Far-field microphones and 4K camera features will also make video calling a breeze. The Microsoft Surface Hub 2 is scheduled to arrive in 2019.
